It’s all about color
I started weaving in my 20s, mostly making rugs. While I’ve experimented with different materials and designs through the years, the thing that inspires and motivates me most is color.
That’s one of the reasons it’s so much fun working with plastic. The array of colors is endless, colors can vary even within a single bag. I also love that printing an graphics comes into play here and there.
Off the loom
When I’m not weaving, I love being outdoors—hiking, rollerblading, cross-country skiing. Color and form are everywhere, and these rhythmic activities free my mind to explore creative impulses.
